Escape to the beautiful and peaceful North Shore of Oahu and UNPLUG.  This spacious and relaxing weekend retreat is designed to give you the opportunity you may have been looking for all year…. to just “be” and “be take care of”.   Through the varied practices of yoga we will spiral and fall back towards what is most meaningful: “The Space of the Heart”.   The “Space of the Heart” was a term used by the great yogic-tantrik master of Kashmir: Abhniva Gupta (c. 975-1025).  He described this place as a secret place inside you where you feel the most you, that place where you feel the sheer joy of being you.  It is that part of you that stays constant in all experiences throughout your life.  It is the mysterious benevolent field within that reveals itself most readily when we take the time to slow down and just be!

So come on this rare opportunity to literally “unplug” from those daily routines, the digital world, politics and anything else that is cluttering your mind and stressing you out.  The time is now and the time is yours.  There will be “no doubt” that you will leave feeling replenished, up-leveled and and with more inner strength.  So…..COME revitalize through invigorating alignment-based yoga postures in the morning, restoring and nurturing yoga postures in the evenings, meditation, SOUND BATHING, breathing exercises, yoga nidra, mantra (sacred chanting) practices, philosophical discourses on the ancient tradition of yoga, healthy meals, and reset towards your Best Self.  This retreat is suitable for all levels of yoga.  See Pricing Below.  The pricing is based per person.  It includes all practices as seen on schedule, accommodations, and food.

OAHU= “THE GATHERING PLACE”….Let’s Gather, Build Community, and Share the Joy of Yoga

Cecilia Ryan

Cecilia’s yoga journey began in 2000, Hamburg/Germany, where she was a Fitness and Aerobic Instructor. Fascinated by the harmonious dance between breath and movement, effort and ease, she began to immerse herself into the vast ocean of yoga. Her love for people and the desire to learn and share the ancient wisdom and its healing qualities, made the transition to teaching almost natural. She completed her first training in 2004 and began teaching in Germany and Portugal before she moved to Hawaii in 2008. In 2011 she completed her 200hr RYT with Open Space Yoga. Since 2013 she embraces a daily meditation practice and study with Dr.Paul Muller-Ortega and received her 500hr RYT in 2015 under Mary Bastien and Jennifer Reuter. She is currently attending the 500hr Ayurveda Healing Course. Cecilia considers herself a student of Life and aspires to “ride the wave of each breath, connecting to the flow of life, and celebrating each moment as a gift”.

Justin Ryan

Born and raised in Hawaii on the island of Oahu, Justin has always been an active person and intrigued by the human body and its capabilities. Surrounded by nature and steeped into the culture of the ancient Hawaiians, he became more and more interested in the natural way of healing and self – care. Due to some basketball and surf injuries, he finally gave in and introduced yoga into his lifestyle. He was amazed by its healing properties and results. But what caught his main interest was the human anatomy and the way how massage therapy can set the body’s natural way to heal itself in motion.
Being an automotive and diesel technician for over twenty years, he decided to make a career change and enrolled at the University of Hawaii KCC to become a massage therapist. He has since graduated and is a certified massage therapist. He is trained in LomiLomi, shiatsu, sports, medical, cancer, pregnancy massage as well as reflexology, trigger point therapy, acupressure and is currently training in neural reset therapy. What is neural reset therapy? Here is a link to find out more.
In his free time Justin enjoys surfing, hiking, yoga and gardening!

Hannah Vernon

Hi, my name is Hannah. I am the owner and founder of Homecooked with Love LLC. Homecooked with Love is a meal prep, delivery and, catering service on Oahu – using fresh, organic, sustainable, Farm to Table meals made with a whole lot of love.

Being in the kitchen has always been an expression of creativity and love for me. A plate my canvas and a knife my brush. As I grew up, I learned to take that creativity and connect it to the ingredients I used. I started to understand what a whole ingredient looks and feels and tastes like when it’s been picked right out of the ground and not treated with hormones and chemicals. I feel so grateful to make a passion of

mine a career and to support our island and our bodies in the highest of ways.

Here at Homecooked with Love, we strive to recreate your most beloved home cooked dishes, offering more of a holistic approach, using ingredients that have less negative impact on our bodies post meal. Homecooked with Love does not use gluten, dairy, refined sugars, or processed foods. We carefully prepare food that will allow optimal nutrition and happy digestion to get you feeling your best. We seek sustainability, for Hawaii and our bodies, sourcing produce from organic farms around the island as well as the eggs and proteins used. All packaging used is 100% compostable and breaks downwithin 90 days

It is our goal to reach as many individuals and families as we can, who are open and willing, healthy and delicious food that is of course, made with a lot of love. We promise, you will be looking forward to every meal.

Sound Bath

What is sound bathing???

Sound bathing is a form of “Vibrational Medicine” and is based on the scientific principles that all matter, and most importantly, the cells in your body, vibrate to a precise frequency when healthy and to a dissonant frequency when in dis-ease.

Gong and quartz crystal bowls create resonant vibration, rhythms and tones that balance brain hemispheres, stress levels, and even tension in body tissues and cells that have fallen into “dis-ease” or “dis-harmony”.
